Today, more than 2,000 TEAMmates everywhere are rockin’ their Team in Training (TNT) gear with pride for the 1st Annual ‘Wear Your TNT Shirt Day.’
This event, created by peninsula marathon coaches, Amy Duguay and Shyamal Kapadia, along with captains, Courtney Lawrence and Teresa Torres, was intended as a way to share TNT spirit and help grow our TEAM. The excitement has definitely been spreading and has now gone viral, reaching all the way across the country and into Canada!
On Facebook, there are dozens and dozens of pictures of TEAMmates, friends, family, and pets proudly representing TNT by wearing shirts, hats, pins, and even wetsuits! Members are changing their Facebook profile pictures to ones from practices and races, donning purple power everywhere.
In the Bay Area, a cheer mob will be waiting to shout “Cure Cancer! GO TEAM!” at 6 p.m. at Cupid’s Arrow on the Embarcadero in San Francisco. If you’re in the area, please feel free to join in!
