Preparation for the Second Annual Pineapple Classic 5K is in full swing here at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and we hope you are just as excited as we are for the big day!
Bring your aloha spirit and get ready for some fun at our Hawaiian-themed run with includes some exciting obstacles along the way. Join us afterwards to celebrate those who participated and contributed at our luau which includes a beer garden and of course, Hawaiian entertainment.
When: Saturday, June 9th, 2012 at 9:00 AM
Where: At our NEW location!
Grant Ranch County Park- the 9,560 acre park and largest of Santa Clara County’s regional park and recreation areas.

Who Can Participate: Those 8 years of age or older. Register in single-gender or co-ed teams of two or four. Prizes will be awarded to fastest times and best costumes. No partner? No problem! Participants who need teammates can register individually and will be placed with a team.
How: Register at www.pineappleclassic5k.org or call 408.490.3117. Early registration deadline is June 1st. The entry fee is $60 for individuals; $110 for two-person teams; or $200 for four-person teams. Starting June 2nd until the day of the event, fees are $75/ individual, $150/two-person team, and @275/four-person teams. All participants are also asked to raise a minimum of $50.
Most importantly, remember that all proceeds from the Pineapple Classic 5K benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to support its cancer research and patient services programs! What a better way to have a blast while saving lives!
